{"id":3743,"date":"2019-02-23T17:49:20","date_gmt":"2019-02-23T22:49:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.migonline.com\/blog\/?p=3743"},"modified":"2019-02-28T17:42:20","modified_gmt":"2019-02-28T22:42:20","slug":"2018-kmba-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/migonline.com\/blog\/2019\/02\/23\/2018-kmba-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"2018 KMBA Awards"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>MORTGAGE INVESTORS GROUP TAKES HOME TOP HONORS<br \/>\nFOR MORTGAGE LENDING EXCELLENCE<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>KNOXVILLE, Tenn. \u2013 The Knoxville Mortgage Bankers Association honored a record-breaking number of Mortgage Investors Group loan officers for excellence in mortgage lending, company officials announced today.<\/p>\n<p>The KMBA recognized the 37 loan officers from a dozen MIG branches across the region on Friday at its annual Celebration of Excellence Awards Banquet at the Downtown Hilton.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving such a high number of our loan officers recognized is, at its base, recognition of their high degree of commitment to serving their clients\u2019 needs,\u201d said MIG Executive Vice President of Production Steve Smith. \u201cThe home-buying process is a very personal and emotional process. Client satisfaction and their referrals are what continue to build the business of the loan officers recognized by the KMBA.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The KMBA\u2019s top honor of 2018 Mortgage Banker of the Year went to Lisa Wiles, who manages MIG\u2019s thriving Downtown Knoxville branch. This is the fifth consecutive year Wiles has received the award.<\/p>\n<p>Wiles and Debbie Windisch, a senior loan officer in MIG\u2019s Bearden branch, also received the KMBA\u2019s Platinum Award and were inducted into the association\u2019s President\u2019s Circle, which recognizes the top three loan producers in the area served by the organization.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, eight MIG loan officers received the Gold Award, while 11 received the Silver Award and 16 received the Bronze Award.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first time in MIG\u2019s 30-year history that it has had this many loan officers recognized in a single year by the KMBA, Smith said.<\/p>\n<p>Also at the banquet, the KMBA inducted MIG Sales Manager Donna Boling as its 2019 board president, as well as J.R.
