About Me

Hello friend! I have been a Mortgage Loan Officer since 2006, and I joined Mortgage Investors Group in 2020 - just two weeks before the world went coronavirus-crazy! I love being involved with my customers from the very first phone call all the way to the closing table. Whether you are looking to purchase a home or if you need to refinance your existing mortgage, I’ve got you covered!

Keeping my customers educated and informed through every step of the process is my goal for communication. I understand how stressful the home buying process can be, and I strive to deliver a smooth transaction for every customer - making sure you close on time.

Located outside of Chattanooga? Don’t worry! I serve in multiple states, specializing in Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida.

My philosophy: treat every customer like family.

I am married to my kindergarten sweetheart, Tim, who teaches high school and coaches several sports. We love to spend time outdoors, hiking and four-wheeling at our cabin property near Fall Creek Falls State Park. Together we enjoy a very busy life with our four young adult children: Pierson, Alyssa, Pierce, and Ethan. Having four kids whose birthdays are compressed within a four-year time span is a TRIP! It’s also why I had to start coloring my hair to cover up all that gray hair they’ve caused me.

Outside of work, I am very involved with my church. Having come from a family full of musicians, the piano has been a very integral part of my life ever since I began taking lessons at age four. If I am not working hard on your mortgage file, then I am likely practicing the piano, at a rehearsal, or teaching a piano lesson.

Fun fact: I was raised in a four-generation family home, and I learned a whole lot of practical life-lessons and “how-to-save-your-money” lessons from my grandmother and great-grandmother who had both lived through the Great Depression and had learned how to live on a budget. My other grandmother was the 13th of 14 kids, so our extended family is both huge and loud! We learned how to respect our elders and their wisdom, for sure. My grandfather fought in World War II and I have tremendous respect for our veterans and their service to our country! One of my favorite things to do is to embarrass my kids by doing backflips and toe-touches off the diving board while all their friends are watching. I finally gave up trampoline tumbling about 10 years ago after I snapped my ankle for the last time. My husband caught my final-ever trampoline backflip on camera, so there’s proof of that, somewhere!
