Every opportunity I get, I try to educate consumers about how to better position themselves to purchase a home. It's the part of my job that I've loved throughout my career in banking and mortgage lending. Even if homeownership isn't in a person's grasp at the moment, I offer encouragement and advice about the steps he or she can take to reach that goal in the future.
I got my start in banking when I was 16, answering phones for a local bank and then becoming a teller. By 2007, I had moved into mortgage lending and have been a loan officer in MIG's Cookeville branch since 2011. I work with Loan Processors Pam Cummins and Amy Craig and Closer Holly Bivens to gain our clients' trust by being dependable and honest. As a licensed mortgage loan originator, I always make myself available - even after a loan is closed - to answer my customers' questions, follow up promptly and offer referral-worthy customer service.
I am a member of the Upper Cumberland Association of Realtors, where I serve on the Government Affairs Committee. I was also just inducted into the Mortgage Bankers Association as a Future Leader of 2021.
When I'm not helping clients through the mortgage lending process, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, bottle feeding calves and riding with my husband in the cart with our Clydesdale, O'Della. I also enjoy flower gardening, church activities, volleyball, reading and Pinterest. I look forward to assisting you with your current or future mortgage loan needs. You may reach me at the contact information below. I hope to hear from you soon.
