Rhew joins The Housing Hour this week to share her long time passion for helping homeless and/or at-risk single moms and their young children. Cora founded Crossroads Ministry in 2002 while housing a single mom, her baby, and her 14-year-old sister for six months. In 2006 she provided a home and safe place for a first time young mom and her baby daughter and from June 2012 to June 2014 provided a home to a single mom trying to regain custody of her daughter who had been taken out of state by the child’s father. Her passion and dedication to the issue of homeless and/or at-risk single moms and their young children are where her heart and focus is and seeing her vision come to fruition is her goal.
