KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The U.S. Department of Agriculture has recognized Mortgage Investors Group as the top rural housing lender in Tennessee for 2022. The department’s Rural Development office recognized MIG with the same award since 2015. In addition to being the state’s top volume lender, MIG was also recognized as having the lowest default rate in the state as well.
“We are excited to continue to be the number one USDA lender in the state of Tennessee” said MIG President and Co-founder Chrissi Rhea. “Our consistent top ranking highlights our commitment to extending homeownership opportunities to rural communities where conventional financing might not be readily available.”
“Through these recognitions and our continued efforts, we strive to broaden the accessibility of homeownership, ensuring more individuals and families can achieve their dream of owning a home,” Rhea continued.
“We remain committed to serving as a beacon of guidance, illuminating the path to homeownership for more families, and consequently strengthening the very fabric of the community we love and are privileged to call home.”
The MIG Executive Team accepted the Top Lender award at the MIG Corporate Office from Guaranteed Rural Housing (GRH). They also recognized the company for outstanding underwriting and low delinquency.
