Serving others has driven my life, both professionally and personally. So being a loan officer, where I get to help people become homeowners, allows me to continue serving the community I’ve called home all of my life.
I’m a Sevier County native, having grown up on a farm in Wears Valley where my parents still reside. A desire to help people initially drew me to the banking industry in 2006, where I spent 11 years as a consumer lending officer before becoming a branch manager and loan officer.
I joined MIG’s Sevierville branch in August 2019, where I now have the opportunity to help borrowers with their personal, mortgage and investment loan needs while carrying on MIG’s tradition of excellent customer service. I value the relationships I build with my customers and focus on keeping the promises I make to them, communicating with them throughout the process and closing on time. I am a 2008 graduate of the Leadership Tomorrow program sponsored by Leadership Sevier and serve as the Youth and Associate Pastor at Richardson’s Cove Baptist Church just outside of Gatlinburg. I also serve my community through Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Sevier County, where I have been a Character Coach for the Gatlinburg Pittman High School Football team, basketball teams, and other sports at the high school. I also helped to start FCA chapters at Wear Wood Elementary and Caton’s Chapel Elementary, and look forward to being part of the FCA board that is launching in Sevier County.
When I’m not advising borrowers about their mortgage loan options, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Melanie, a teacher, and our four daughters, Ashley, Kelsey, Sophie and Rylee. While I also enjoy working with youth, trout fishing and sports, my greatest passion is Jesus, who has led me to strive to be a servant leader. I look forward to assisting you with your current or future mortgage loan needs. I hope to hear from you soon.
