About Me

As a lifelong Knoxvillian and graduate of the University of Tennessee, I feel a real connection to East Tennessee. I have a vested interest in this community, as it has always been and will continue to be my home. So I enjoy being one of the first professionals newcomers meet when they move to town and need help financing a home loan. Whether I’m advising first-time homebuyers or a local veteran, my on-going goal is to be their “Friend in the Business.” I brought four years of mortgage lending experience to MIG when I joined its West Knoxville/Parkside branch as a loan officer in 2007. Today, I work with my Assistant Kari Smith, Loan Processor Ashley Killion, and Closer Breanne Vlahakis to provide our clients with hands-on, goal-oriented service.

As a licensed mortgage loan originator, I have the knowledge to advise customers about their mortgage loan options and help them choose the best program for their needs. At MIG, I also have the support and confidence to look customers in the eye and assure them that we will close their home loan on time, every time. I am a member of the Knoxville Mortgage Bankers Association, which has recognized me with annual production awards. I most recently received the Gold Awards in 2021 and 2022.

When I’m not helping families finance or refinance their homes, I enjoy casual hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains and other surrounding national parks, biking greenways and exercising at Fort Sander’s Health and Fitness Center. I also enjoy traveling, reading and spending time with my wife, Mary and our beautiful daughter, Gianna. I look forward to assisting you with your current or future mortgage loan needs. You may reach me at the contact information below. I hope to hear from you soon.
