I’ve been a producing loan officer and manager for over 22 years, and what continues to drive me is helping people feel confident and informed as they navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. I pride myself on being honest, upfront, friendly, and genuinely helpful. I take the time to explain the mortgage process in detail—step by step—so my clients always know what’s happening and why. That’s one of the reasons I work with so many first-time homebuyers; I’m happy to slow things down, answer every question, and make sure nothing feels overwhelming.
What I enjoy most about my work is educating clients and helping them feel good about the decisions they’re making. I truly believe there’s no such thing as a dumb question. My role isn’t to judge—it’s to guide, support, and lay out a clear process that gets my clients across the finish line with confidence.
I primarily work with first-time and move-up buyers, and I’ve also begun working with investor clients again through DSCR programs. I specialize in loan options that support buyers who may need little to no money down, including VA, FHA, USDA, and down payment assistance programs. I also have experience with construction-to-permanent loans and one-time close land/home packages, and I enjoy collaborating closely with builder partners to structure those loans correctly from the start.
One of the most meaningful compliments I’ve received came from a client who shared that he struggled with ADHD and a lot of anxiety during the process. On a particularly challenging loan, he told me that my agent partner and I helped take that anxiety away and made the experience feel relatively stress-free. Moments like that remind me why taking extra time and care truly matters.
I also believe it’s important for clients to understand why a specific loan option is the best fit for them at the time they choose it—not just what the option is. Education and transparency are key to long-term satisfaction.
Outside of lending, I enjoy staying involved in the community by partnering with real estate professionals on first-time homebuyer classes, financial literacy seminars, and attending open houses. And when I’m not helping clients with mortgages, you’ll most likely find me on a bike. I’m an avid cyclist—road, gravel, and sometimes trail—and I’m always up for joining a group ride.
