Hello! I’m Meredith Freshour, a dedicated Loan Officer at Mortgage Investors Group, based in our vibrant Greeneville office. My journey into the mortgage industry is one fueled by a blend of inspiration and passion. Growing up, I was deeply influenced by my father’s 20-year tenure in banking, which sowed the seeds of my interest in this field.

I embarked on my professional path as a probation officer after college. However, I soon realized that my true calling lay in the world of mortgages, a realization that came to life during my time at 21st Mortgage. What excites me most about this industry is the opportunity to guide people through one of their most significant life decisions – buying a home. I particularly enjoy working with first-time homebuyers and single parents, helping them navigate the exciting and sometimes daunting process of homeownership.

As a single mom to my delightful 1.5-year-old daughter, Harper, and a doting owner of Rosie, my four-year-old Australian shepherd, I understand the importance of creating a nurturing home environment. My weekends are usually spent relaxing, cleaning, and embarking on little adventures with Harper, bringing a sense of balance to my busy work life.

I find solace in my hobbies which include sewing, making dog collars and bandanas, and quilting – activities that not only spark my creativity but also provide a wonderful way to unwind.
