About Me

I began my career in finance right after high school and spent my first eight years working with all types of loans. In 1996, I decided to focus exclusively on mortgages—and I’ve been committed to that path ever since. With decades of experience, I truly enjoy serving every kind of buyer, whether it's a first-time homeowner, someone upgrading or downsizing, or a current homeowner looking to make improvements, consolidate debt, or simply lower their payment. One of my greatest joys is seeing clients reach the closing table and knowing I played a part in helping them achieve that milestone.

Clear and consistent communication is one of my strongest skills. I connect just as well with a first-time homebuyer as I do with someone purchasing their third or fourth home. I make it a priority to keep borrowers, realtors, and everyone involved in the transaction informed from start to finish. I’m also known for my ability to navigate unique or unusual circumstances and structure solutions that help clients move forward.

Although much of my business tends to be FHA and conventional loans, I am experienced with USDA and VA loans as well and enjoy working with all loan types. No matter the situation, my goal is to guide clients through the process with honesty, accessibility, and care. Even when I’m not directly handling processing tasks, I stay engaged so my clients always know what’s happening and never feel left in the dark.

I’ve lived in Cleveland for most of my life and love watching the community grow. I’m deeply connected through my church, local schools, and professional relationships. Cleveland is the perfect size—not too big, not too small—and the mountain scenery that surrounds it is something I truly appreciate.

Outside of work, I’m a dedicated family person. I have four sons—three of whom are grown and married—and four wonderful grandchildren. Our family is very close. I’m also involved on the worship team at my church and enjoy music, something that runs through my whole family.
