Whether in the office or off the clock, my passion has always boiled down to one thing: people. As a native of Surry County and a graduate of Elkin High School, my commitment to this community runs deep. My career in real estate has been a natural progression driven by a desire to help my neighbors accomplish their dreams and navigate the journey to homeownership. I initially built my foundation as a real estate broker, serving clients within the Triad. This gave me invaluable, firsthand experience working with local buyers and sellers, writing contracts, negotiating, and navigating home inspections.
From there, I expanded my industry knowledge by transitioning into the legal side of real estate, working as a real estate legal assistant in Wilkes County. In this role, I provided critical support to the attorney, realtors, corporations, and banks. My daily responsibilities included preparing closing checklists and closing disclosures for property sales, reviewing purchase offers, and analyzing vital title documents. I was also the primary point of contact for keeping clients updated on their property closings and directly coordinated the closing for a seamless experience for everyone involved.
Now, as a licensed Loan Officer with Mortgage Investors Group, I bring this complete, 360-degree view of the local real estate market to the mortgage process. I know exactly what it takes to find a home in our area, how to review the structural pieces of a deal, and what happens behind the scenes to close a loan smoothly. Because of this, I don't see my clients as just another transaction. I want to know your unique story, your long-term goals, and where you want to be 5, 10, or 20 years from now. I want to be the difference maker who cares enough to listen, truly connect, and build a lasting relationship.
Outside of helping others achieve homeownership, my life centers on community connection, outdoor adventure, and quality time with the people who matter most. I love staying active in our area by attending local events, visiting local restaurants and wineries, or exploring the outdoors through camping, trail walking, and kayaking. Whether I am enjoying our local landscape or traveling to clear waters to sit by the ocean with a good book, I find my greatest joy in sharing life’s adventures with my family, friends, and the community that raised me.
