As a licensed mortgage professional at MIG, I want every borrower to feel as if he or she is my only client. To play on my last name, I like to say that I’m making the mortgage lending process as BORING as possible. My introduction to the home financing industry came years ago through my work as a partner in a Knoxville accounting firm. Many of my clients were Realtors, and with their encouragement, I decided to pursue a second career as a licensed mortgage loan originator.

I joined MIG in 2001, and today serve as a senior loan officer in the Park Side branch. I work with Megan Brown and Zina Sirbu to deliver superior personal service as we help clients from Knoxville, Maryville, Lenoir City and the surrounding areas find the mortgage program that best fits their situation. I have also been a mortgage instructor for T.R.E.E.S., Inc. (Tennessee Real Estate Education Systems) since 2005, which offers pre-licensing training and continuing education for real estate agents and others in related fields.

I also hold the title of secretary and treasurer of the Southeast Chapter of the National Cartoonist Society.  I have drawn cartoons for the Knoxville News Sentinel for the past thirty years and during the holiday season I enjoy drawing cartoons for children in the cancer ward at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.
