Kim Carman - Mortgage Investors Group

About Me

Born and raised in Michigan, Kim moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in the late 1980s and has proudly called it home ever since. She is married to the love of her life, Ted McKee, and together they have a blended family that includes four wonderful grandchildren who bring them endless joy. After many years as a dog owner, Kim’s lifestyle led her to a different kind of companion—she now adores her gorgeous Ragdoll cat, Annie.

Kim has spent more than 20 years in the mortgage industry, wearing many hats along the way, including Loan Officer, Manager, and Owner. Through the industry’s many ups and downs, her passion for helping people achieve homeownership has remained constant. She truly can’t imagine doing anything else.

A natural leader and connector, Kim has long been active within the Knoxville mortgage and real estate communities. She has served in numerous leadership and committee roles with organizations such as the Women’s Council of Realtors, the Homebuilders Association of Greater Knoxville, the Knoxville Area Association of Realtors Affiliate Board, and the Knoxville Mortgage Bankers Association.

Today, Kim serves as Branch Manager of Mortgage Investors Group’s Bearden Alliance team, overseeing both the Bearden and Morristown branches. In this role, she leverages her extensive experience and strong networking skills to recruit, develop, mentor, and motivate loan officers—while continuing to do what she loves most: helping clients achieve their dream of homeownership with one of the most reputable mortgage companies in the Southeast.

Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time on the lake with friends and family, traveling, and getting lost in a good book.
