Every opportunity I get, I try to educate consumers about how to better position themselves to purchase a home. It's the part of my job that I've loved throughout my career in banking and mortgage lending. Even if homeownership isn't in a person's grasp at the moment, I offer encouragement and advice about the steps he or she can take to reach that goal in the future.
I got my start in banking when I was 16, answering phones for a local bank and then becoming a teller. By 2007, I had moved into mortgage lending and have been a loan officer in MIG's Cookeville branch since 2011. I work with Loan Processors Pam Cummins and Amy Craig and Closer Holly Bivens to gain our clients' trust by being dependable and honest. As a licensed mortgage loan originator, I always make myself available - even after a loan is closed - to answer my customers' questions, follow up promptly and offer referral-worthy customer service.
I am a member of the Upper Cumberland Association of Realtors, where I serve on the Government Affairs Committee.
When I'm not helping clients through the mortgage lending process, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, cheering my kids on in life and on the field, bottle feeding calves and riding with my husband in the cart with our Clydesdale, O'Della. I also enjoy flower gardening, church activities, volleyball, reading and Pinterest. I look forward to assisting you with your current or future mortgage loan needs. You may reach me at the contact information below. I hope to hear from you soon.
