One of the first things you’ll notice when you walk into our branch is a homey atmosphere that lets you know we are real people taking care of real people. Not only do we genuinely care about the customers we help become homeowners, but we have a good time doing it. So, don’t be surprised if you see us wearing costumes on Halloween or donning our pajamas from time to time. We’re apt to offer you a refreshment or a mint when you walk through the door. We surround ourselves with inspiring words, big smiles and a healthy dose of friendly conversation and laughter. Terre Webb has been our spirited leader since she opened our branch on June 1, 1996, but her experience dates back to 1978 and includes everything from processing loans to helping other loan officers grow their businesses. She had been running a branch for another company when MIG leaders approached her about expanding its operations to Chattanooga. MIG was a logical choice because of its history of funding and closing its own loans, access to top-level decision-makers and in-house underwriting and processing services; but the company’s dedication to always doing the right thing for its customers sold Terre on making the move. The rest is history.


All of our loan officers are licensed to originate loans in Tennessee and Georgia, and one is also licensed in Alabama. We can confidently say you’ll make an informed decision about which home loan to choose because we take the time to get to know you, understand your goals and explain all of your options to you. We’ll break down the mortgage lending process for you and answer your questions until you feel comfortable. Our entire team, including our processors, underwriters, loan officer assistants and other support staff, works together to ensure you are informed, understood and treated with respect. We want MIG to be your mortgage family, so you’ll talk to a real person on the phone and share face-to-face conversation when you come to our offices. We’ll also be there to celebrate with you at your closing and keep in touch with you long after you’re handed the keys to your new home. We’ve even been known to help mom and dad secure a loan and then do the same for their kids a few years down the road. We love it when that happens.

We also love it when we run into you around town. We live here like you do and want to see our community be a successful, safe and healthy place we can all be proud to call home. In recent years, we have supported the Chattanooga Community Kitchen, Chambliss Center for Children, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, United Way of Greater Chattanooga and Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Chattanooga Area. We have also participated in the Chattanooga Regional Homeless Coalition’s Housing Bowl, Chattanooga Women’s Council of Realtors Bras for a Cause breast cancer awareness campaign, and Wash Me Pink Color Run benefitting Susan G. Komen Central Tennessee. If you see us at any of these events, or simply pumping gas, buying groceries or watching our kids play in the park, be sure to stop and say, “Hello.” It reminds us of why we do what we do and always brings a smile to our faces.
